Does anyone have an ek rivet master link 520? I have one but its a clip style and I wouldn't be caught dead with a clip on my bike.
It really hasn't been to bad this whole summer. I'm not going to complain about upper 80's with no chance of r***. Will definitely be staying on top of fluids though.
I will be there for the weekend making Big Ear custom ear plugs and riding! Check out my thread: http://www.sttforum.com/showthread.php?t=11159
I am wondering the same thing. I know someone was out there and made an accouncement on Sat morning, but I don't remember the name.
Forgot ... Sorry if I held some of you up in the corners in the novice class. This was my first time on a track and my bike lacks speed on the straights. I will return to the track it was the best experience I have ever had. The instructors were fantastic! Very helpful I was truly impressed with how much they watch out for all of us on the track.
I had a blast myself. I've been to Putnam twice now with STT and both times were great. Thanks STT guys and gals.
We all started somewhere, as long as you're out there having fun it's all good. Faster riders will get around you, just be consistent. Oh...and welcome to the addiction!
I'd highly recommend the STT crew to anyone looking to learn/improve their skillset. Had the best day of riding to date in over 20 years street riding this Saturday at Putnam. Huge props to all of the Novice instructors for the patience, and attention to detail. I was the biggest guy on the biggest bike there, but I made do with what I had. Definitely exceeded my goal of sub 2 minute laptimes with a best of 1:38 and avg times around 1:40. I thoroughly enjoyed silly putty and would love to attend again next season, but only with a better suspension setup and a much higher fitness level My right quads are killing me!! Need more left handers to balance out the pain
www.gron4.com will be where photos are at. I'd expect to see them on Tuesday-Wednesday this week. I love that they sort the photos by bike! I go to the site. Click on my group. Select my bike # or color. Place my order and show all my friends how great I look! Sooooo easy.
I know how you feel. My Buell was definitely not setting the pace on the front straight, that's for sure. But, the straights aren't where the fun is to be had anyway, right? As long as you pushed yourself, did some learning, and had fun, nobody will hold it against you.
Thanks I am ready to go back. It was the greatest experience on a bike I have ever had. I know my kawi has more to show me.
