Please, oh please, let your weather report be right. I'm seeing something totally different when I look. (if I don't say it, I won't jinx it)
I was hoping that Kevin or Renard would chime in. Renard did suspension and tires for us last year, I'm not sure what his status is this year, whether he's a vendor or a coach; he may be able to help you out. I believe that Frank (formerly of Chronic Motorsports, but I can't remember his new company name- Help me Kevin!) will be providing Michelin Tire service this year and I'm assuming that he'll offer suspension service as well, but don't quote me on that just yet. There will be an announcement at the riders meeting at 8:30 Monday morning as to what the official situation is. see you monday!
Accuweather says 31% chance of thunder shower in the affternoon. Hours of Rain: 1 hrs Amount of Rain: 0.02 in Thunderstorm Probability: 31% It looks like a typical 10 min thing at the end of the day, or 69% not going to happen. http://www.accuweather.com/us/ny/monticello/12701/forecast-details.asp
Hey the weather is going to be what its going to be so dont worry about it and just ride and have fun. It will be what you make of it. Speaking from the glass half full mentallity.
Power or 2ct I am in and looking forward to it. My question is this: with the threat of rain, should I bring the bike with the power one/power race rubber or the bike with the PP 2cts? I have done a day in constant drizzle with the 2cts and they stuck like glue. Of course i was NOT pushing it.
Re: Power or 2ct Bring the bike with the 2CTs. It will be cool out & they'll work better at an Intermediate pace.
