Sorry Renard! Looks pretty wet tomorrow at Monticello.... I'll show up and see what happens. Today's weather would have allowed plenty of nice riding... perhaps tomorrow will be the same. I'm no fan of riding in the rain, but , Damn! It's been six months! Jim B Green Hawk
Good time out there. The weather was nasty but I still had a bunch of fun, until I got tired and started making too many mistakes. I decided to call it a day after the first session after lunch. Good show STT.
I was really surprised how well some people rode in the wet. there were some first time riders in novice ripping it up. white BMW chasing a Ducati. I think there was one get off all day. Good day, next time a little sun would be nice.
Link, were you in Novice? That was definitely one of the quicker novice groups I've run in. Fun times.
I had a fun day coaching Intermediate, despite the rain. We also had a few guys tearing it up in the wet! It was very impressive that there were so few crashes and zero injuries. I can't wait for memorial day weekend!
Hey lance thanks to you and all the coaches in int. Had a good day, learned a lot just by watching the lines, braking and body positions, in the wet.
Congrats to you guys that stuck it out. I was just out there in survival mode so I decided not to tempt fate and packed it in. Wrong bike on the wrong tires for those conditions.
fun time despite the weather...I wimped out after the first afternoon session. Beautiful track. Looking forward to next month.
Thanks to all the coaches in the novice group for some great advice. Never thought you could have so much fun in the rain.
I have to say it was the most fun I have ever had in the rain. Monticello's track has great grip in the rain.
