Nothing to worry about. I have been told I do a good job pulling and motivating people. Not too fast, just fast enough. I have a blue and black 06 GSXR 600, no stickers as of now, no number plates. Just raggedy looking paint. . Look for the guy with the only orange vest saturday. That will be me. Yellow dancing banana leathers.......... slightly worn
Is Alex going to be at RA on Sunday? I enjoyed following him around Tally (when it dried out) in the beginner group and was hoping to follow him or someone in the int. group at some point on sunday. Tally was my first time on the track in six years and my first time on a 1000 in-line. I am on a silver/black cbr 1000.
OK I can't make it. Just kidding. But seriously I just looked at the weather forcast and I think I'm going to melt like a snowman in that kind of heat. Your forcast daily low is about what our daily highs have been. Oh well it's not like I didn't know it was going to be warm. I have been in the south in the summer before just not wrapped in a leather suit. Steve
Its not to bad at Road Atlanta.... Just keep up the pace 12 through 7 then dry all the sweat at 185 Mph on the back stretch!!!!
I hope I can convince him to spin a couple of laps in the intermediate with me. I need someone to give me some reference points for braking etc. Last time I followed him and the dude on the green Kawi I got in and out of both the chicane and the right hander at tally 2-3 MPH faster consistently with less effort and went slower on the few straights. The only reason I know this is because I was filming the last few sessions over the tank and when they would buss in on me and have me follow them the camera caught the speedo. Really looking forward to wearing out a set of 209s and baking in the sun with you all this Sunday.
I have to agree with that. The first year I rode Joe pulled my times way down. He is very good at helping you lower your times
If Alex cant help you which Im sure he will be able to in the latter part of the day track me down.. I would be more than happy to get out there with you....I will be on tires all weekend but can pretty much go out whenever.....
Thanks, that sounds good. I will try and catch up with you in the early part of the day so that I can get some things to work on through out. Are all the tires that you guys sell Michelins? I might need to change a rear and I am on dunlops.
Zero shade at Road Atlanta! Bring a e-z up for your wife. Medical may be busy with a rider on the track and not have time to deliver a baby in this heat
