Tell the car guys to buy (or build) a vehicle with decent acceleration, and they'll get going plenty fast on the current straight. whiners. "there can't be anything wrong with our cars - the track must be too small." :roll:
I was at Gingerman yesterday. There is indeed construction in T11 and the pit entrance. I wanted to talk to someone but it was cold no one to talk to. There is a huge pile of dirt next to the pit entrance, it is at least 20' high. The way they are clearing the area around T11 could be suspesions that they may even relocate T11 as a left hand turn and add T12 as a right turn leading to the straight. That may in fact extend the straight, who knows, we would have to wait until spring to find out. I also went to T1 and T2 and it seems that they are working on the sand pit. This would only make sence if they are extending the straight on the back end (T11).
More than ever before?? I only see 3 weekends in Gingerman on the current posted scheduel. I see a boatload of Grattans though. 1 every month at least. Hope your working hard on getting a few more Gingerman options as its the closest to Sean and I. I see the prices went up this year. Counting the days to warmer weather.
If you go to the schedule and click on the event you want the pricing comes up. You can't schedule it yet but the pricing is there.
Gingerman's site got a face-lift. I'm not wild about hte new layout, but they're rotating pictures of the construction on the home page, and the 'headline' on the right site of the main page says that the new turn(s) will be ready by June 1, and they're looking to run the track both directions. http://www.gingermanraceway.com/
I am ridding gingerman this sunday for an open trackday so I'm assuming its ready to go. I will fill you guys in when I get back. Cant wait to get back on the track!!!!!

This guy you know...when will he inform you, to inform the rest of us plebs, when those dates are?? Some of us plebs, only have a certin trackday budget for the summer. Gingerman is the closest and most favorite track and Id like to visit there as often as possible.
I was at Gingerman last Monday , Crews were hard at work on the new section of track . Looks like one hell of an improvement .
extending the straight for cars would be nice ... then they could ripple the pavement where only they have brake.
