Shinko tires for track days

    If you're on Dunlop gpa's or UK slicks and are burning through them, you need a basic suspension set-up. Dunlop, Michelin and Pirelli's latest tires are all pretty good in the wear dept as long as your suspension is working correctly. Dunlops are pretty well known to last forever too. I know mine do

    I was thinking the same thing, I mean I know Im slow, but a set of those dunlops lasts quite awhile and wear VERY evenly....

    Very good point.

    I can get a full track day out of a rear tire from all 4 major manufactures at a good TD pace. And probably a whole weekend if I adjusted my pace accordingly.

    I would suggest getting in touch with somebody like Joe Kraft, or Livengood, or Thermosman, or Kent (GMD), or Lenny Albin, or Dave Moss and let them try to figure out why you are burning tires up.
