I dont think so.... However I do know AT&T Aircards work there... I will have mine for work so if you need it for anything short term just let me know...
Yes the track has WIFI, but it was locked last time I was there, but you might be able to get the password if you ask nicely.
The perfect example of positive thinking!!! I'll say a little prayer for you guys too...I hate to see anyone miss out on a track day...
It can be pretty dog gone fun in the rain.... Its amazing what a Hefty bag can sound like flapping at 150mph...
It won't rain. Sheesh. After all this time, you'd figure to not rely on the weather man! I'll be there with bells on (whatever that means)! K
I found out about this event a couple days ago and will try to make it. It will be my first event. I'll have to ride down from Atlanta on my ex-500, so I'm wondering what are the chances of this thing being canceled both days due to the rain. Does the track close if a single drop falls? How long after the rain stops before it tends to reopen? I have a cracked up front fairing. It is still one piece, though. None of the cracks have made it all the way to any outer edges. I have riveted it pretty solidly with aluminum sheets behind the plastic and I think it is stronger than it needs to be. Anyone have some experience with something like that passing tech or not? Also, can anyone say how common the smaller tire sizes are for the on-site tire service? The ex-500 uses 110 17s in the front and 130 17s in the rear. Thanks, Steven
Steven it sounds like your bike should be alright.... Unfortuanatley I dont think we will have tires that fit your bike... Also It is a very long ride from Atlanta to Roebling.. I would encourage you to partner up with someone and throw them in the back of a truck. Much safer and easier... Hope to meet you..
Oh and we will not cancel for Rain..... Only postpone if severe weather/lightning is coming through from my understanding..
Thanks for the info. Does anyone care to volunteer to give me and my bike a ride? I am 20 miles outside the Atlanta I-285 perimeter heading NW on I-75. I'm only a couple miles from I-75 exit #273. I don't smoke, I'm a quiet guy so I shouldn't be annoying, and I'll buy your gas. I gotta go get some tires, so if someone can do this, call me at <edited>. So, I made it there and back on my bike. It was worth it, but I wouldn't recommend it either. I'm going trailer shopping.
Great time everyone... Steve, Check in with us so we know you made it back OK.... Here is the pic of the weekend.....What a Bum...
Good time Nice to finally meet ya marc along with cody and the rest of the crew. Thanks the Mark and the rest of the STT group
