Yeah I put the rains on the TLR and went out in a few sessions yesterday... The first one in turn 5 I was like WTF?? then that sand was real scetchy... Just took it easy but still had fun... You know what the saying is... A Bad day at the track is better than a good day at work... Still had a blast....Hope to see you guys at the next one... Marc
i would like 2 thank stt for putting on a great event @ rrr.. i ran terrible times.. 1:22 - 1:23 best times and 1:26-1:27 was average.. on street pilot powers...ALL my friends were running 1:18- 1:22 averages and it sucked not riding with them.. -got served mass quantities of humble pie- there was a dude driving an rc51 that was running my times almost exactly and we hooked up for one session and had a blast.. almost all the advance riders had great lines and gave lots of room when passing me.. marc sry we didn get 2 talk. but was super buisy with the abusing of alcohal friday night and saturday night
I made it back late this evening, and I must say I'm so pleased that the weekend went so well. I was afraid everyone was going to leave when the weather looked dark on Sunday - sooooo glad you guys didn't! It was so much damn fun, I'm anxious to get to working tomorrow to see what the shots look like! K

Yes, I made it back Sunday night. The ride back was total crap until I got through Macon. It seemed to warm up some and the wind was mostly head-on the rest of the way home. Those wet laps Sunday morning probably helped a lot. That was one epic weekend for me. The experience was worth what I had to pay, but I won't do it that way again. Thanks Marc, and the rest of the STT folks, for all your hospitality and help! -Steven
Thanks for posting up Steven.... I am glad you made it back.... You should sign up for Talladega in April with your 500 or your new bike that you were talking about... There will be a bunch of us doing it all over again there but in much more favorable conditions I am sure....
I must say even with the weather my friends and I had a blast. I was happy for my first time on this track to be running 1:25's consistently on Saturday and then 1:27's on Sunday in some crazy weather and dodging puddles and sand. lol Still met some great people and had another great time with STT. Thanks again everyone.
