I am doing the NOLA track day on April 23rd. My dad wants to do it as well, he rides a Yamaha FJR 1300. Are they allowed?

Don't believe center stand removal is required for novice, only advanced group. I think :)

Centerstand removal is not madatory except in the Advanced group. It is recommended, but again, not madatory.

Your dad was rockin it pretty good on that big bike. He was pretty close to scraping hard parts through 3 and 4 when I was following him at one point. How did he like it?

The Harley, on the other hand...not sure I could go along with that on Barber...have to bump that to an executive-level decision...

I've heard that Barber was really good. I'm really looking forward to it. I also heard it fills up quickly, how far in advance should I sign up?
