IMHO, the single biggest mistake people make when it comes to suspension settings is doing nothing. I usually tweak my damping settings a few times a day. Get the sag right, figure out what you don't like about the ride/handling, take a guess as to what you think might help & try something. Make big enough changes to notice at first, at least 1/2 a turn. If it doesn't help, put it back where it was & try something else. Write all your changes down & note the results. You'll never understand it if you don't try.
