I just switched to GP shift too and will be trying it out for the first time on track this weekend, I'm nervous about it, but think it is the right move in the long run.

Thanks for the tip Marc, I'll try to remember that.

I decided to switch to GP after I got my foot caught between the ground and my shifter last year at Tally trying to grab a gear coming into the back stretch.. Your foot is definately not a good pivot point when you're in the throttle on a literbike.. :D

I changed over to the GP shift two years ago at Road A. I forgot about the GP shift going down the back stretch and kept trying to upshift. It took a few seconds of burning 15,000 rpm's that I had a GP shift. After I got used to it I will never go back to normal. You will love it!

Can't wait to stretch my legs this weekend. I am in for Saturday. I have heard they have added some more power outlets. Anyone know if they are adjacent to pit row? I hate having to set up in the grass to get power.

It's looking a little better for Sunday..

The Weather Channel has change their Sunday forecast for Munford, AL to Isolated Thunderstorms with a 30% chance of rain..

It has been straight Thunderstorms with a 70% change of rain for the last week.

ABC3340.com expects 3 hours of rain on Sunday.

Yeah we got enough rain, wind and tornadoes last night for the weather to be perfect for the weekend
