I think we have all done that..... Remember.. Head down shift down... Head up shift up.... Helped me save a few transmissions...LOL
I just switched to GP shift too and will be trying it out for the first time on track this weekend, I'm nervous about it, but think it is the right move in the long run. Thanks for the tip Marc, I'll try to remember that.
I'll be there sunday running I. Hope fully the weather will cooperate and atleast hold off till after lunch.....but its not looking promising. Joe, man I wish you had signed up Sunday!!
I decided to switch to GP after I got my foot caught between the ground and my shifter last year at Tally trying to grab a gear coming into the back stretch.. Your foot is definately not a good pivot point when you're in the throttle on a literbike..
FLO-JOE I changed over to the GP shift two years ago at Road A. I forgot about the GP shift going down the back stretch and kept trying to upshift. It took a few seconds of burning 15,000 rpm's that I had a GP shift. After I got used to it I will never go back to normal. You will love it!
Can't wait to stretch my legs this weekend. I am in for Saturday. I have heard they have added some more power outlets. Anyone know if they are adjacent to pit row? I hate having to set up in the grass to get power.
As close to the tower as possible.... Probally just to the right of it if your facing it... Just look for a Black F150 and 2 blue ez ups... Thats me..
I just picked up some more live crawfish for tomorrow night.... I am ready to get the pot boiling ASAP!!!!
geeze, yall need to eat all that boil friday night and get it out of your systems saturday so I dont have to dodge the oil slicks and smells sunday.
somebody better bring immodium AND pepto to fix whatever ail's ya. Jimbo what kind of times are you running at tally? I noticed yu said you moved up to A this year, Ive run it in the past and have no problems but definately ffeel better in I where I dont feel in the way quite as much. I run like 1.09's there, think I oughtta go up next time too?
1.10 to 1.12 but I am instructing this weekend. What ever you feel comfortable with. I am going to get out there with Marc and see what happens when I am not instructing
It's looking a little better for Sunday.. The Weather Channel has change their Sunday forecast for Munford, AL to Isolated Thunderstorms with a 30% chance of rain.. It has been straight Thunderstorms with a 70% change of rain for the last week. ABC3340.com expects 3 hours of rain on Sunday.
