    I stayed at the hotel that is right out side of the turn off the interstate into Barber. I can't remember the name (American Comfort or something like that) but it wasn't terrible for $70 a night I guess.

    Barber has really really nice facilities at the track. I would rather sleep in the pits, shower in the bathroom place for free than stay at the hotel we were in.

    Yeah...Comfort Inn 1951 Village Dr.,it's at the next exit,gas,restaurants,everything you need is there...5 minutes from track,nice clean place.205-640-6600

    Plus there is the famous Waffle House! I heard you might find some fast race guys eating there once in a while. Might even get their autographs. :lol:
