The water left in the head and water pump still has a very good chance of expanding and popping a freeze plug or worse .
Get off your butt a run some antifreeze through it ,and run it till the thermostst opens .

After pulling the lower radiator hose, if you want, blow compressed air through the system. That's what I do for the water feed line on my RV too.

If you leave the hose off after draining and the system was drained before constant freezing weather hits, then most if not all of the remaining water will evaporate.

Hahaa.... yeah. Sunburst blows. Go up to Granite Peak.
This is a pretty good resource for anyone looking for places to go.

I think his rates are 1 - 6 pack per wheel off the bike? 12 pack if the wheel is on the bike. We just give him a bottle of scotch at the beginning of the season. He also likes grappa and fancyass vodkas.

My winter is consisting of shovelling our long arsing driveway that goes uphill (both ways!), trying to finish rehabbing our kitchen, knitting tiny scarves for the cats, bowling, I got a new job(!!), and watching X play Zelda and cursing how much he hates that game.

Yup, that's the "friends and family" rate.. which, come to think of it, is the only rate I have, since I'm not really in the business of changing/balancing tires, I'll only do it for people I like!
