Try wall sits. Should be easier on your knees. Stand with your back against a wall, then "sit" with your legs bent at a 90 degree angle. Hold that stationary for as long as you can. Should start to burn within 20 seconds or so. Closest thing to working the thighs like riding a bike, IMO.
Thanks for the tips. It gets harder and harder with each year. I just turned 57, so having ANY knee movement at all is a definite +++. I've never thought about or heard of the exercise that you are talking about, but it makes sense for sure.
Fitting and painting new bodywork. Replacing the swingarm, since I can't find anyone to weld the tab for the spool back on. Trying to lose 50 lbs. Going to the Rich Oliver Mystery School. Mostly quit beer, except for special occassions.
we just built a house on 10 acres and we have about an acre of woods we have made a nice trail in. Hopefully when the winter wheat is gone we can have a track in the field for awhile
Been working out some and keeping the bike on the road during the winter I still ride it about 5 times a week.
Far from it! Atlanta is a yankee as I have ever been. Moose Drool is from Missoula, Montana...not exactly yankee country!
