Looks to me like that pass might have been a little too close!

Actually it was dragging in some of the right hand corners. But yes, if that was from a pass I'd probably be a little more pissed off!

you must have been Marquez'ing that chit to do that, or had ALOT of lean, i could see that happening at Blackhawk, but putnam is rather flat.

I tend to lean into the corner pretty hard most places. I go through knee pucks and toe sliders quite often also. Running the MICHELIN POWER SLICKS makes it seem easy. :thumb:

thats wat happens when u lean the bike over too far.
now u know why im always slow, just trying to keep the bodywork in really good shape.
has nothing to do with my lack of skill.

Or you could spring the bike so you don't compress the suspension that far?

    from 6ft under.....

I just installed the new TTX-GP Ohlins with the correct spring for my 230lbs. Also my preload and compression are on the stiff side already. All I can do at this point is raise the rear some and see what happens.

Could also be damping if it is to high and you are getting packing.

Yup, ride height (both front and rear) adjustment is in order!

I was dragging the low exhaust on my 675 until I jacked it up in the air by 10mm or so... The forks went from 10mm showing to flush. It got rid of the dragging problem, until I upgraded tires, and then it came back!

yea it sure does, i call it the tire graveyard.. if i want to cash a tire i take it there LOL. I've got it to where i get great wear as far as tearing etc.. but it still eats the tires..

Didn't time a single lap. I wanted to learn the track and that's all I did. If I had to guess, probably did my last few sessions in the high teens based on who I would follow and what I know they were turning. I didn't exactly set the world on fire because I was breaking in a new bike and all my new gear like leathers, boots and gloves. Next time I go there I will be timed! :thumb:
