I bought a 99 TLR and was planning on getting it ready for next Spring... However It may be done by this weekend for CMP...LOL So what is everyone else working on?
taking my 2004 ninja 10r suspension off and sending it off to be reworked. took my 2006 ninja 10r apart b/c i had a rock busted up the dam radiator so just got it fixed and put back together. got to work on brakes. b/c their is no air in them but that are not holding good pressure. working on my truck as well with a install on a dvd player to watch movies as i travel next year to track days and etc.
Nothing much so far, but I have lots to do, once I start buying parts. I'm selling all my street stuff, so I've yanked all the plastics, lights, kickstand and rear seat latch assembly. After the first of the year I'll start accumulating race bits and putting them on. Race glass, full exhaust, fairing stay, etc etc. Oh and safety wiring even more stuff.
tearing down my 99 R6 to the frame and cleaning every nook and cranny there is. o and putting a new 05 transmission in the engine. that'll be fun.
Bought a 2001 GSXR 600 was a lowered street bikewith 23,000k on it. It is in pieces. Total rebuild for the track....... I hope I can get it done on time without being thrown out of the house because im with my mistress in the garage...
Weld a brace onto my guzzi frame cos it bends a bit with all the power I'm putting to the ground!!!!!
I'm going to be tearing down my 06 R6 much like natedogg624. Pull the forks and shock and have them rebuilt. I also have my blown R6 engine I plan on rebuilding. All this is under the pretense I find a new job quickly, if not the beast will be up for sale...
Finishing my 2007 Rilza Suzuki MotoGP replica (John Hopkins' bike) SV650 -- paint work is done, now I just have to put on about 50 decals. I may get them done by a pro. Just bought new clip-ons, rearsets, power commander and gear indicator. Need to install slipper clutch I bought last year and install 14T front sprocket.
...new chain and sprockets as well as some Speigler brake lines on the 996. I've also got to send my gloves and leathes out for cleaning and repair.
Strong as an ox! Seriously, seems like it's 100% but I haven't been lifting anything real heavy since then. Though my injured finger binds up every once in a while but if I crack it sideways it's back to normal.
That's good to hear your back is good. And I feel your pain with the finger, I dislocated my ring finger years ago. On a cold damp day, it just locks....Makes for a fun time... I need you healthy next year, I need to have a new video made...
I'm redoing my ZX636 this winter and turning it into a project bike for TrackdayMag.com. Boxes of stuff have been arriving for a few days already. this is gonna be great.
I had intentions of putting Galfer braided brake lines on over the winter, but Galfer was having a special pricing offer at the MotoGP at Indy in Sept. so I bought them then. They've been install and Motul brake fluid put in, so now I'm probably just going to replace the pads with some Vesrah's and call it a day. Come on springtime...........I'm waiting!!
