Guessing by the name you've got Blue Healers. My parents are on there 2nd one now. Love those little guys. If I wasn't such a sucker for rescue mutts, I would be getting one as my next dog.
Don't know if you'll see this while at the track but I set up next to you. First time at a track day, so if anyone has any tips stop by. Blue tent with a blue Connie opposite end of the gate.
I want to thank everyone that was asking about me and all the well wishes from you are greatly appreciated. Also would like to thank everyone that helped my friend Brad Clark load up my trailer, and for who ever rolled the windows up in my jeep you are the best! To give everyone an update, I have a fracture disk T12 which is near your waist so a lot go bed rest for now. I would have hated to seen how bad I would have been if I wasn't wearing my back protector. Again thank you all for all your kind words and help.
What an awesome weekend....it was plenty hot both days, but not a single drop of the liquid sunshine the entire weekend. Sunday's Novice group went the entire day without a red flag......Awesome job to all the Novice folks out there. Don't forget, we're doing Tally again in July....the 26th/27th to be exact.
Daniel and I had a blast this weekend. The trailer was right with 5 bikes and we were pressed to get everything out in time for tech but we managed to have plenty of time. We were located between Louis from Pandora Motorsports and Anne from Atlanta. Both of you were a pleasure to hang out with and thanks to Louis for the Canyon Dancer for the 5th bike in the trailer. Made tying them up at the end of the day much easier since we were short one. Had a great day running in I group and the MV's were doing ok on the track. I was only able to best a 1:09 while Daniel was close to 1:07. For only 1100 miles on the new bike I was happy with where I was at especially for never being at TGP. We look forward to hitting up the next round with you guys. And to the people who went down we wish you all a speedy recovery and hope to see you back at 100%
2nd that. The support from everyone around Lance's incident was impressive. Folks we hadn't met came up to help load the trailer, get the bike in safe condition (had leaking fuel tank) and even offered to help get jeep & trailer home. Truly remarkable. Thank you. here's the vid....http://youtu.be/ADMwvt02Wpo (looks like my GoPro was fogging up or had a smudge on the lens, so its a bit blurry).
What a fun weekend! First I would like to thank all of the coach's for another great weekend. Shawn, thanks for the 2up with Madi on Sat! That made a huge difference for her to see the track before her first time ever on a track! Peggy, Vern, Mark, James, Thank you all for the one on one instruction with Madi on Sun. She said other coach's also gave her tips and pointers on Sun, but those coach's that rode behind her for each session at that pace were a huge factor in her feeling safe. It is such a great time and a family feel riding with STT! Trevor thank you for putting on another great event.
Ink42o me and another guy rolled up your windows and moved your gear to the front so it wouldn't get wet. that's what STT is about. family taking care of family. Sorry about the get off. Hope you heal up fast
No problem it was my pleasure. she was a great passenger and I'm glad everything went well for her. looking forward to seeing you guys out there again!
I had a really good time and enjoyed meeting some new gals/guys... I will have some videos of I up in a bit.
Didn't get a chance to thank everyone so I wanted to take this opportunity to give a shout out to the stt staff, you do a great job!!! Saturday was my second track day but first on the 99 R6. Still have a lot to learn but I look forward to many more. Still a little sore this morinng but this 57 year old body isn't as flexable as it use to be, but it's all good Hope the one's involved in the mishaps' are doing ok. Also, great to finally meet you Marc and thanks for the camaraderie Kellie and Matt, hope to hook up soon for a ride.
