ACC has few spots, one of which was already repaved. The other is the "U" transition from N to S. other than that the track is great!

Nope, and never will, this is a hobby not a career. We hold the upper hand when we pay to ride their tracks. The track isn't gonna repair my bike if I lowside hitting a massive bump/divet/crack. ACC has done a good job of catering to the ppl who ride/drive their track.

ACC is waiting to see how the pavement behaves before repaving the entire course. It's new pavement that has not been utilized before.

For those worries that the track is unfit or unsafe you have been completely misinformed. However if you expect glass for pavement you're expectations will not be met....at any venue throughout globe.

I am another one who loves Gingerman. Don't know why but it is one of my favorites Always has been. I would ride there before the south course at Autobaun and I live 30 min from autobaun.

Not only acc a great place to ride(one of my favorites), but the stt guys run a tight ship there and iv never have anything to complain about. They treat you like a customer(good thing), not just another bike. They really try to give you the most time/fun for your money. AND THAT MATTERS!!!

This 100%. The staff at STT are fortunate enough to even give us the chance to ride this track by keeping a great relationship with ACC. There is no need to complain, it's still a fun track regardless.

Hey Sherry. You would love the North, it was my second favorite track behind Barber for years on the SV. As is reported here, the South has been improved and I enjoyed it before repaving, just not as much as the North.

You should come ride a day or 2, you will dig the track, PROMISE!!:thumb:

I would say it's one of the best paved tracks i've been to.
    My favorite right after barber.

Sherry, I think you've only been to barber. It's time for you to ride some other tracks... ;-)

i've always liked the layout, just not the bump, the one bump on the exit of 6 would send a jolt through the plate in my leg it was so bad, now with the repave, i'll be there as much as possible

Yeah, the repave took care of the worst of it. My back had a hard time tolerating the ripples, even if I took the alternate line through 6/7 to miss the bad stuff. I don't think there are any bad spots left except the connector between the N to S course... and that's one turn out of... 20(?) and not even a turn you use if you're on the tracks independently.

I don't know what everyone is whinging about now.

Unless it rains for a whole week before an event, ACC doesn't have the same weeping issues Barber has. The facilities are really nice compared to most places, and the food is way better too. Lessee, and that's out of... I think 11 or 12 different tracks I spent time at last summer?

I'll be bummed when they do a full repave, all my reference points are marks on the surface of the track.

    You going? :D

I like challenges - blind turns and hills! Any of that there? I'll admit that I never even watched a video of ACC.

If I decided to go, north is ran that Saturday; south on Sunday, and full on Monday. I'd go 2 days; which option would be best?

Um, no hills, none. yet it's quite challenging.
North is short but very flowing.
    South is different.

I'd do Sat and Sun and Mon LOL
If you can do only too, i'd do Sat and Sun.

For blind turns you'd have to go to Grattan. Barber is NOTHING compared to grattan when it comes to blind turns. I think 11 of 13 are blind.

Grattan is fun, but will never be my favorite. ;-)

Yes, I will likely run Sat and/or Sun., so see you there.:thumb:

The North course T3-4 area could loosely be described as blind, at least you can't see the apex until you initiate. And challenging, well the last corner is a double apex that is challenging to get right, easy to do, but crucial to get right for a good drive down the home straight.

The South is technical as noted. I find all tracks challenging, but that may not be the case for everyone.
