    For those of you like me, old and appreciate a real bed, there is currently a promotion in Birmingham on select hotel rooms. If you pay for Friday and Saturday night you get Sunday night for free. If you don't have to go to work on Monday this could make for a much more relaxed weekend. After two days on the track it's gonna be nice to head back to the hotel instead of the 250 mile drive back home!     I am in.. can't wait! Last track day I did was @ Barber, high sided in OCt!!
    Anyway, got race plastics now, can't miss me.. GSXR 750 Neon orange and black.. tall guy (6'4)

    I'll be there with a couple of other Yankee's from the north. Anyone know if you pay for the power at the gate, or is that handled in the pits?

    This is going to be my first track day so this may be a "duh" kind of question but if we are buying tires and having them mounted at the track is it all cash or is there a way to use cards?

    I presume you have to pay for camping & power when staying in the pits in a toy hauler, correct? :?

    For power definitely, and I think there is a small fee for staying in the paddock camping too.

    There is a charge for power. Camping fee is charged to stay up in the official camping area, located above and outside of the pits.
    I have never paid to sleep in my truck under my EZ-Up in the pits. An RV in the pits may be different.
    No tents allowed in the pits, but awnings are fine.
    These are the rules I am aware of, my apologies if I am mistaken on any.
