ya my bike was primer last spring, then had it done all blue with the 2 lines in the summer. I didnt make the october barber event so it prob was the chicago guy. There is a baby blue bike with lines there also, im pretty sure hes a track coach.
My brother and I both noticed that this group seemed a bit faster than most. We both felt like we were getting passed a bit more than normal. Looking at some videos on my bike, I was in the 1:50 range, and I know a good number of guys were doing better than that. I guess the "I" group is stepping up!!
I was basing my times on the clock on my GoPro - are those accurate enough to count? Here are a couple others I edited down to 15 minutes for youtube. I tried to keep the action so if it jumps.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRfs8VLZnPI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edUe-FjmIpU I'm still working on a couple too. Maybe a collage or something when I'm done.
cool vids...who was it that had a rear facing camera that wrecked? i was right behind them when it happened
I was only there on Saturday, as a warm up on the way down to jennings, but by the end of the day I was running between 1:41-1:44. Im pretty courteous and check up in traffic a lot. When taping friends I was also into the 2:00 range. So the spread I would guess was high 1:30's to low 2:00's Got a couple of vids up if youre bored: http://vimeo.com/channels/keggerbarber
High 1:30's they should have been in "A",the times were up for most of us,first ride rust or the puddle in 14 or whatever,my best was 35's,I know David and Richard were a couple 2-3 seconds off,my friends (except Chimichanga who did a 33.9,but most of his laps were 35-36's) Brian Van I think did a 37 flat which is off for him so yeah,if there were Initermediates running high 30's they would have fit in nicely.I watched a couple sessions and the group did look good
Wow, this is the first time I saw myself on video (about the 10 minute mark). It's cool to connect your video with some of the footage from mine. So, how was Jennings?
just looking at photos i'd say this dude could have been in A group. looks like he has a lap timer. wonder what his times were? http://www.photoreflect.com/store/Orderpage.aspx?pi=0QAK00WH022262&po=2262&pc=2882 ah ha! http://www.photoreflect.com/store/Orderpage.aspx?pi=0QAK00WH092245&po=2245&pc=2665
Yeah, I was recording the guy that was behind you on the R1 around the 6 minute mark. He passed and there was a bunch of traffic so I kept checking up I was on the 88 bike behind you for awhile. Jennings was great- weather was perfect!
thanks to your videos I was able to figure out what times I was running. 2:00 the first time out on the 125. sorry for slowing all of you down. -matt
