LIkewise , hey Lance we'll see if we cant get the garage opened for us that night . I should be there around 7-8 as well . If you get there firstt, see about getting it opened eh . Looking good for the weekend Cheers J
Dumb question: are they open for camping @ the track, the night before? I plan to roll in around 7-8, too. Lance
Yes they are , just roll on in and set up. We can drink a few bears and relax, nothing like waking up beside the track your gonna have fun on See you there
Always had them , they are up by the restrooms $120 for the weekend go here for more details http://www.beaverun.com/rentals_garages.asp
Garages--always had them since last year. Two years ago the building was still under construction. I called in late August about garage availability for this weekend, and at that time they were already sold out. Oh well, we don't need no stinkin' garages! We plan on camping both nights. It's going to be a bit on the cool side, but not enough to worry about engines freezing up. We might well arrive by mid-afternoon... CU there!!! Chris
Just noticed on the BeaveRun schedule that Sunday is an open cart rental day. Any chance of having a Saturday Evening replay of the cart teams from two years ago? That was a blast!
I'm leaving philly around noon, so I should roll in early evening. I'll know this evening whether I'll be getting my smoker delivered to the track from Michigan. there's a good chance of pulled pork BBQ, saturday evening. Lance
the smoker won't arrive til mid-day, so no pulled pork, however, I may grill some stuff. so the more, the merrier!
I'm heading down after work today so if you want it's no thing for me to toss the smoker in the trailer. just need some wood chips. Let me know.
I'm on my way there for both days. Gigantic, Wish I would have seen your request for transport of the BBQ sooner. I might have been able to squeeze it in my truck. Unfortunately, I was in Germany at the Nurburgring for a couple of weeks & pretty busy since I got back, so I didn't see your post until now. BTW, stay to the left this weekend. I'm shooting for 1:00. ;-)
I had a great time! it was good to see old friends & make new ones. Props to Dave , Betsy, Mike & everyone else who helped make everything run smoothly. Cheers, Lance
It really was a great weekend, as Lance said. Should have mingled more with you down the hill guys but that walk back up the hill to the garages. Ok, that excuse could be better. I thought it was a bad sign when that tractor trailer debacle happened Fri night. Wasn't to be though. It was fun riding with you guys too and I can't wait to see the finished track next Summer.
I was only there for Saturday, but I have to admit it was one of the best track days I ever had. Weather could not have been better. Special thanks to Brian at Sport Bike Track Gear for all my hardware, and Shadow Video for the tips on how to improve my corner speeds. P.S. I saw a bunch of people taking photos at the track, anyone sharing any of those?
Shoot an e-mail to info@TheSBimage.com with a description of your bike, or an existing picture if you have one handy.
Yeah some great work on that site! Chris Hudsucker check out your pic in the slide show. Man, it was a great weekend, my first trip to that track. The people and facilities were really nice. We spoiled ourselves and used the garage. The track was everything people said it would be. Thanks to all for the experience. Special thanks to Betsy and Mike for the awesome barbeque on Sat. night.
This was a great weekend for the blast off for the winter we had 70 plus degree weather for both days and a great track to ride on. Betsy, Mike, Johnny, Our new friend Lance with the small birds ( Lance Im sorry I forgot what kind if bird it was but it was very good) and many friends with the BBQ Saturday night about 20 people showed up for the feast. everybody chip in and the BBQ went smooth like the hole weekend. This get together was a good set up for a great day on sunday. I can't wait for the spring to get together at our next track event.
