That is what I will probably do.
Already have stands, came with the bike...no kick stand ya know.
It will be a new world all around with this bike. Need to get used to the GP shifter as well.
    Thanks for the advise!

I will have a set of STG single temp warmers for sale this weekend if interested, they have only been used twice. Hopefully the weather cooperates the forecasted highs are about 15 degrees higher than the last 2 years.

John - You should have stayed for Sunday. By noon thirty the track was totally dry ( except for 1 puddle.... LOL ) Had a riot out there all afternoon. It was great meeting you. Hopefully we'll see you in the spring in the intermediate group. Have fun at Barber!

    Saturday

Wow, what a great day, the weather was way beyond any hopes I had for the day after driving across Michigan in pouring rain....

Sat out the first session due to the cold and damp but the rest of the day was great.

Was a little disturbed in my first (the second) session when on the out lap the guy in front of me dropped his CBR in the Esses for no apparent reason. Had to avoid both him and his bike spinning in the track. He was up and back on by the next lap so assume all was OK.

Achieved my personal goal of moving up to the A group for the afternoon. Thanks to the CRs for observing in 'I' and then making sure I did OK in 'A'.

Now just have to wait 6 months for the next one.....

    later

Good to see everyone, and thank you to all the people that got raffle tickets :) 2011 was a fun year at the track.

Hope to see everyone in April.

Great riding once the track cleared up.
I saw that CBR laying there for no apparent reason, in the only puddle left on the track.
See everyone next year, with finally, my track bodywork.

Two guys I was pitted next two went down on brand new tires (even with taking it easy). I think the cold/wet/new tire combination was too much. No damage or injuries though.

Also saw someone just about highside in the dip between 11 and 12, take their bike through the grass and over the hill on the inside of 12, then ride back down onto the straight next to me... Skills!
