so who's down for tearing it up again at Grattan Raceway labor day weekend? I will, and the usual Grattan peeps in the lower paddock at the end of the road. edit, who do we need to pay off to make sun CCW? Mike M, Sally, Sam, or Rich? lol i dont think i can wait till the 30th.
lynne and I already signed up. this will be my first Advanced group day. looking forward to it. this is our annual vacation week so, we go to grattan saturday, clean the bikes, mow the lawn, and pack on sunday, and head to the nc/tn border to ride the dragon and cherohala area for the rest of the week. this year i think, we may cut the gap trip short, and head to barber friday, ride barber saturday, and head home sunday. plans are still in the air for that. we havent been to barber yet, and would like to see it prior to the ladies weekend. we are definately going down to barber for the end of sept, first of october ladies day weekend. i believe lynne will be signing up for the disalvo school that weekend as well. I'm going one of those days not sure yet leaning towards sunday and i'll do my first intermediate day so hopefully it goes well
We have the Annual Redline/ STT Charity event going on Saturday at Grattan for Wounded Warrior. After the track day there will be a cookout for $5 and a raffle with some great prizes. The raffle tickets will be 1 ticket for $5 or 3 tickets for $10. There will be members walking throughout the pits Saturday selling raffle tickets and flyers will be available near Rider registration tables too. Tickets can also be purchased at the Redline tables setup throughout the day too. It will be held in the Upper Paddock, at the far end, overlooking turn 8 (The Bowl) ALL proceeds collected will go to Wounded Warrior. Please come out and support this great cause, these men and women have made tremendous sacrifices for us and our great country. We will look forward to seeing you. Thank you
^^^ as a Veteran of the US military I appreciate these things. Sat locked in, maybe Sun.... that is unless it was CCW then for sure I'm in.
Yes Eric that is part of the event as well, $5 for grub so make sure you guys stick around for dinner Saturday too!!
sept 30th is the next and last CCW of the year. i had not planned on booking it, but i really like CCW. the track just flows more smoothly.
Thinking about driving over after Friday Gingerman for Saturday Grattan, trying to clear this with the other half. :croc:
I am planning on coming out for Satuday to hang out and help with the BBQ. Will not be riding though.
Will be there Sunday with a couple of the guys from work...and then the 30th for more CCW fun. Need to find a way to get a garage reserved so I can get power Sunday, hate driving to the track wondering if there will be one open or not.... any chance of adding this to the STT booking form....or can one of you two day guys book/pay for me at a small premium? (734 658 5154) thanks
tell ya what; bring your knee pucks with you and i'll put them on my leathers and scuff them up a bit for you... s3aturnr
The garages are handled by the track and you can pay when you get to the gate. Usually you can call and they will tell you the price and if there are any open. Most people reserve the garages for an entire weekend but sometimes you can walk around and see if anyone has an open spot in their garage and share.
