Don't you take whatever seems like a good size (6x12) and go the next size up? :)

I'm thinking 7x16, just big enough to haul 4 bikes if you want to, small enough not to be a pain in the ass or need a semi to move it. Plus you can get inside it if the weather turns bad, or use it as a changing room.

I'm going down to a 16 footer or less. When it comes to trailers less is more....

Depends on the number of bikes and riders
    2-3 bikes and riders 6x12
4 bikes and riders 7x16 I can put 6 bikes in my 7x16 the only problem then is room for gear, ez ups, gas cans, coolers ect.

So I say perfect size for 2 riders and bikes 7x16 gives ya a good bit of room for anything and not too bad in a parking lot!

I have a V-nose 6x12 and it's nice to have extra room... and a changing room, but pulling it with a half-ton pickup works okay... it just sucks the fuel like crazy to pull it.

If I could, I'd keep it and also have a little 4x8. The difference in pulling is huge.

7x16 is decent (4 bikes), but to have that extra bit of room, 7x18 would serve our situation better. Ski

5x8 pulled with a VW jetta. 3 people, 2 bikes, 2 racers worth of gear, tools, spares, genny
(when needed), camping stuff, two sets of pit bulls, ez-up, clothes, fans, table, coolers...you get the idea. ~20mpg Perfect for what we can afford.

The best size trailer is the one that is the next size larger than the one you own.

We've got a 6x12 vnose now, the vnose is more of a hassle for organizing than anything. Next one will be a regular ol round top flat nose. They do make a 6x14 which is appealing but I also like the thought of 7x16, but then I add an extra axle to get raked over the coals thru toll booths. I'm not too concerned with mpgs, it does ok now as it is @ 14mpg if I drive like a human being, but I tow flat out!! :D

My 6x14 does well, we fit 4 bikes in it on occasion. I'm probably going to down grade to a 6x10 or get a small toyhauler.

It would only be for 2 bikes and maybe a pit bike at that.
