we usually throw jeremy's in there on the weekends so he doesn't have to let it sit outside, (yes i put my bike in the trailer at night, i know my friends all too well :jester: ) i'd like to add a fold out bed as well and thats just not possible with this trailer
I love that trailer since we met at Barber. I'm gonna go with something similar this spring (let me know if you upgrade it) ;-)
Wait till you get to chapter 3 where it explains 10,000 excuses why Dave acts like he has a vagina.. It's great
Check this stuff out. http://pitposse.com/trac.html You can secure just about everything so that your bikes are safe with gear in the trailer.
As an amateur track day-er, my dad and I travel very light. We pull a 40x48 Harbor Freight trailer. We load it with 2 bikes, a EZUP, 10 gallons of gas, and a spare tire. In the car (HHR) we generally have 3 people, supplies, food, gear for 2, (2) 6x8 tents, full set of tools (which has so far been the biggest waste of space, knock on wood), and stands. We use basically all of the available room, and are within ~50lbs of the max weight for the trailer, but it worked well all summer. And we get 25mpg cruising in the mid-70s It would be nice to have a higher speced trailer, but it was purchased with only one bike in mind and then my dad got the bug! I guess none of that answers the question: I prefer to travel as light as possible. I saw a guy show up with his sedan, a folding chair, and his bike on the trailer full of gas. He rode until it ran out of gas and then called it a day. That sounds great, if slightly impractical
