personal responsibility is the best medicine for what ails ya... as Keith said... only certain filters were defective others that failed were installed incorrectly.. EG using the nut on the end to tighten or doubling up the O ring... the second can happen to just about any oil filter... shoot I've seen leaks from people forgetting or doubling up on the drain plug washers as well.. Let's leave it up to the ones in charge.. as STT has always been a pioneer in the track day world... when something warrants a change you can be sure they have thoroughly Vetted it. again... it is the responsibility of the rider to make an informed decision based on the information in abundance.
