And, finally, Here is a full session of I (last session on Sunday). http://youtu.be/Ioxfe2v8yvE You will note that traffic is more of an issue than Barber (track not as wide especially in the tight turns, but mostly because assuming what everyone is going to do on a brand new track may be a REALLY bad assumption). Same reason why I didn't push passes when I was pretty sure I could have. There's a 2:12 time in here somewhere. After watching this, I pretty confident I've got about 5 more seconds in me before I get over my head... Lastly, the rider in front of me on the Green Ninja is missing his left leg from the knee down and his prosthetic is velcro'd to the footpeg, which explains his unusual body position....
You have WAY more than 5 seconds in you front that vid.... I think it looks freaking awesome! I do wish it was a bit wider, like Barber, but I aint complaining! :thumb:
Jay, you'd better get some new pucks, because you can drag your knee thru both those long RH Sweepers in the triple digits
I'm just looking forward to the supporting structures being built. Had to make a major transaction in a porta john Monday. I put it off as long as I could Loved the track. The learning curve is steep. Good thing we will be there often and it is less than an hour and a half from my house:woot::wheel:
The NCM track is 36' wide with a lot of paved run off area's. The start/finish Straight, T1a and 1b are 40' wide.
Did you ride the Grand Max course that we are suppose to use? Or did you use the same course as MCRA?
Same as MCRA..... I would like to try the Grand without the Kink in the straight... Turn 1 would be a friggin hoot...:thumb:
then you need to come up to the real north, and visit grattan. same front straight, no kink before one. 3600 feet plus of wfo throttle... hard on brakes, drop into corner one. c'mon up! Ski
^^We were discussing that with Owen on Sunday.... It would need to be worked around Road America again in June However..
If I remember correctly there is usually a Grattan Saturday/Sunday immediately before the Road America Monday/Tuesday. You could leave Grattan in the afternoon on Sunday and still make Road 'Merica, about a 7 hour drive! -T
Just realized I never posted this. For anyone interest in the pit in and out procedures, plus a chance to study the track at about 5 mph: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNcQXZcDpi0
