Im there both days and hoping for this warm weather too. The 65 degrees is okay with me. That is equal to December Jennings weather! I just hope we get the chance to ride that track backasswards again.
they were not completely on fire...only smoldering and smoking a bit. same pads are on there now (but i have turned the rotors since....so game on!)
I'll be there on the 16th. My boyfriend and I (the Buell and the very-slow girl on the red honda CBR600 :? ) will be there for our second track day! I've been around the track countless times with my car. If you need people to warm up the track, I can see what my boyfriend's Ford Ranger can do! :lol: But the weather looks nice so far! Here's hoping it stays that way! I'm hoping to at least keep up with a novice group this time. I've put about a 1000 miles on the bike since my last track day, so I'm a little more confident.
Nancy You are already way ahead of where you were on your first trackday. You already know what to expect at a trackday and what issues you want to improve. Fix the issue and the results will continue to improve, too many are fooled by believing the reverse. See you this weekend.
I went to the Gingerman TD October 2nd to recoup and I threw on an Ohlins damper this time. I didn't feel like myself out there, though... :cry: so, I chose to just work on my lines and not push myself to get back up to speed. Hopefully Grattan will be more comfortable for me.
I was doing a ride along in the Dakota that day. When I saw Jig reach for his seatbelt I knew I was in trouble.

i heard a rumor that there maybe a vote on saturday morning in the riders meeting about a possible CCW day on sunday. anyone interested , i know that i am its been two years since i've been around there backwards.
CCW sounds fun, but its been at least 5 years since my last time aroung Grattan CCW. I don't want to be a rollin' chicane out there. So my vote is for no CCW on Sunday.
