Yes I remember you. We are going to try to make it to those days. SportBike Track time ranks right up there with YCRS. It was a fun time at Barber. When you get to RA look us up. We will be more than willing to help with what we can. Have a great season. GOD Bless
Gabe, Thank You. It was Masons first time ever riding a 600. Sunday last session was a blast to watch with you to. Mason wanted to let you know he has a great time riding with you. What a fun weekend for the first ride of the season. Good luck this year. Thank You and GOD bless You have a great guy helping you in Richard Harris.
Don't think I've ever caught myself on video until this one. That's pretty cool. Those guys are awesome Gabe. You won't go wrong listening to them.
Here's a video from Saturday Intermediate. I enjoyed chasing the control rider starting about 9.5 minutes in. Turn 5 is still my weak point. Maybe next time the staff can coach me up a bit and get me ready to play in Advanced. It was a great weekend to shake out a number of the mechanical and rider issues. Thanks to STT for a great season opener. http://youtu.be/dtn61OT_f0s
I have a couple more but this is probably the last one I'll post up. I love how Johnny points to me at the beginning as if to say hay you- stay back there!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ET75I-IIME&feature=youtu.be
He is a video of Andruis, John(Newleaf), and i having some fun in advance group on sunday. It was great riding with everyone again, looking forward to the next one! I think Andruis has a video of his POV of this session as well. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzsve4tbDQE
Did anyone happen to catch my cold tire oops in turn 5, first lap of the 3rd session (last before lunch) Saturday in Intermediate? My friends were behind me, but their cameras weren't facing forward that time.
LOL...I was so tired I couldn't pass you back...lol,yeah I wanted you to stay back for one session to get some good rear video, hopefully I'll feel better next time and we can do our usual dice-a-rama....nice riding, great weekend..:thumb:
Yeah it was only my 10th trackday/weekend ever and 1st time at Barber. And I too wanted to tell Mason it was fun battling it out last session of the day with him. I was really sore that last last session as I'm sure Mason was too but the fun out weighed the pain :thumb:. The most fun last session I've had yet fer sure!
Good seeing you guys as always...those boys did a great job getting up to speed on short order...see ya' soon guys!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DspRbKa1RRU That's an afternoon advanced session on Sunday (can't remember which one specifically) but this was my first time riding Barber and only my 4th trackday! Thanks a lot to Kirk Mcconnell who helped my riding out a ton that weekend!
4th trackday and you are doing great. Please get with Kirk your next time back there. After he watches this video, I'm sure there are many area's where he can help you improve even more.
Thanks guys  I've been in contact with Kirk (great guy!) and he said he'll check it out as soon as he gets a chance, looking forward to improving more on the track this season. And yeah I did my first track day the beginning of last summer at Grattan in novice, end of the summer I signed up for Intermediate on my 2nd and was told for the last 3 sessions of that day I could run advanced (it was a pretty sparse advanced group that afternoon). This barber weekend was my 3rd and 4th days out. Ran Int on Saturday with a new bike/new track and all, then was able to pick up the pace a bit on Sunday in A. I loved it down there I can't wait to go back!
If anyone has I group on Sunday at about 3 oclock with a red 600rr running of the track at museum corner I'd like to see it. I'd like to know how much I did wrong.
