Thats the only time I see you guys: On the starting grid! :lmao: But I agree the more the better, it will be fun for sure. I havn't been on a starting grid in 10 years so I guess its about time!:wheel:
Pretty good deal for new racers. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news...es-to-existing-riders-who-recruit-new-racers/
If someone wants to use me, send me a pm. Let me know. I have not signed up yet, spending my flu bed-ridden time reading the RULES.
I'm all signed up for ProSchool 1on1! I can't wait. Time to get them squats in. My Panigale likes to get angry on the track!
Finally pulled the trigger on the Pro School! Should be amazing to get one on one feedback at a track as technically diverse as Grattan. I just hope I can get rid of the cobwebs quickly enough to learn something new. There are races on the weekend, yeah? I have no intention to race but will probably watch Saturday.
3 Solo 20 (20 laps) and some vintage classes Saturday and 8 lap sprint races Sunday. 15-17 races total Sunday. Races start at noon normally.
I will be there as well, but just for the track day part. This event is CCW, just so you know..... same as the weekend races. In Aug it is CW. Way to early in the year for a pro-school for me....CCW is challenging enough. I have done 27 Grattan CW, but only 1 CCW. So instead of wheelies :wheel: I get endos.
My one and only Grattan experience was CCW 4th of July last year. My hope is that the intense instruction & focus will keep me from doing bone-headed things. A solid day of someone telling me everything I'm doing wrong should help to avoid ego related expenses.
Never did Grattan CCW or any WERA race. The pro school has to be enough to get me thru the race. It will be A LOT of fun one way or the other. Im very excited already!
Tom, I will do the Friday date and go from there, if not that Grattan then no doubt the Aug date. I know, I know, just f**** do it man..... Just no seat time yet, none in the near future.
All signed up for May 2nd. Just the regular trackday though. With new un-tuned suspension, other added goodies to the bike and recovering from a crash last year, I don't want to waste a coach's time while I get everything dialed in on the bike and get used to the bike/track again.
I am going to be there on Friday coaching. Come find me and I will help you around. As of the moment I am not going to be a proschool instructor. If you would like seat time, the solo 20 on saturday will give it to you! CCW is so much fun and you will regret not racing if you stand there and watch all of us have the fun. Like you said, just do it! :thumb:
