Anyone going? Suspension? I bought an Elka shock for the RC51 and was wondering if someone would be there to help me get it set up.

According to the schedule on his website, Ken from Superbike Italia will not be there. Send an email to Jason at departmentofsuspension@yahoo.com to see if he'll be there. I think he was there the last time I was at Putnam.
A local guy has offered to help me get adjusted. I bought an Elka shock and can't wait to see the difference in that over stock.
I'll be there Saturday for my first track day with STT. This is only my 2nd track day. Ironically, both at Putnam. The first one was back in May with a different group that had no instruction. Let's just say I had no business on the track even in the novice group. I'm looking forward to learning more about becoming an all around better rider on my bike. I'll be on a blue yamaha fz6. I remember seeing you out there. That was the Curve Chasers track day. We also had the girl on the Hayabusa in the group. The number of people going off at the bus stop was crazy. I'm going both days this time now that the bike is completely setup. That day was the first time on the track bike, finished it the night before. Kind of a crash and burn testing but didn't crash or burn. CBR600F3 #856
Very cool. I will be on a white/black RC51. As far as suspension, I am getting someone local to get me at least a baseline set up tomorrow so hopefully I will be ok. If there is anyone good at making tweaks, hit me up if you are available to give me some advice.
I went to a Curve Chasers day last fall. I have to say that STT is 1000x better, with it's control riders and its novice instruction. Curve chasers has nothing, and really, 1st time track riders have NO business doing a trackday w/ them. Hardly anybody out there had any idea what a race line even was. It was sad. My wife will be doing her 1st trackday this year, and I made sure she was doing it through STT.
I'll be there both days - I absolutely LOVE Putnam.... one of my favourite tracks for sure. See you guys there!!!! t

Hey TimmyB, where in NKY are you located? I live in Erlanger. Koby, I know we're staying at the Motel 6 in Cloverdale. However, I have no idea what time we'll be arriving.
I still need to get a hotel for fri night. BTW, I got my suspension set up. The guy really seamed to know what he was doing. I can't wait to try it out. He really thinks my forks need re-worked soon, so we'll see how it goes.
