If anybody is looking for a room check out "The Inn at Depauw. Special rate is 90.00 for mentioning Putnam park. Super nice and only 9 miles from the track.

I'll be there sunday, but i could really use a good discussion about it.
I think my problem is just the LOGIC of how to form a line properly. First few days i was turning in way early, and last track day i was way late. If i could bend you ear in front of a track diagram for a few minutes it'd be helpful.

Im at about a Novice 6 pace. Maybe 5 if i get my lines right.

Eff me, didn't get registered in time for Novice; any suggestions? Are there stand-bys or anything?

I think I have the wrong kind of bike. Spent most of my day off the track in the grass... Lol

As long as you are okay, a few grass stains will never hurt you. I've had a couple rides in the grass as well without incident.

I also want to say thanks to the staff for another great track day and to Coach Jeremy for the check out and bump to I.

Enjoyed my first time at Putnam until I when off-road in the afternoon. Found a pretty good line around there in the morning and the bike was good. T9's bumps helped me push the front and I ran out of track. :(

Thanks STT staff for scooping me up. And at least I found my GoPro that capture my wild slide in the dirt.

I found out triple digits aren't the way to go into turn 1. So the gopro footage says

Well for me 105 was the limit for me. Much faster I started sliding through turn 2. I had a rough day had to pack it in early from sliding to much for my comfort. Didn't make the last 2 sessions.

well if you knew it was 105 then you weren't looking where you were supposed to for turn 2 and ended up off the apex which introduced you to the ripples ;) gotta nail 2 right or you'll skip n slide everytime ;)

No never look on track. Gopro footage have it mounted on the tank gets speedo. I learned that lesson first track day. NEVER look at speedo

Had a blast at Putnam, first time at that track and really liked it. Also got the unexpected bump up to A, thanks to Owen. This hobby just got a lot more expensive!

So what's a decent Intermediate lap time? I was checking out my gopro footage and I seem to be running consistent 1:27's on my Z. I felt like I was moving well for my experience level but that could have just been the "track high".

Had a great weekend though, what a blast! great to see everything.
