Congrats again to you and your buddy. Continue to "tweak" the things we talked about and attend the Advanced Classroom session.

Second track day and first at Putnam, did Novice Saturday and had a great time of course. Big thanks to the coaches for helping with my body position and confidence, and to the rest of the STT staff for making everything happen. Thought my ass was over but wasn't, made things MUCH easier once I actually got off the bike. It amazing how much looking through the turns helps as well. Now I just have to figure what and where the next track day will be.

Sunday started out really bad for me. For some reason I couldnt get concentration and i was riding over my head the first session out.
I seriously considered calling it a day because i actually asked myself if i even wanted to be there that day. Luckily, i spoke up and let Bomber know and he adjusted accordingly. By the 3rd session my confidence was back, and i was having fun. After some incredible discussion over lunch, the afternoon wound up being the best day ive had on the track yet. Bomber really did a great job adjusting some of my bad habits for me, and really helped my lines get better. Not perfect yet, but better. Confidence is growing, and so is my speed. But the best (for me) is that I'm relaxing A LOT more, and smoothing out everything which is really what i seek to achieve. By the end of the day i was in a wonderful "zen" spot while riding. I feel like i peaked the second to last session and really really feel a great sense of accomplishment.
Im not fast yet, but i can tell the measured and steady improvement I'm making each day.
I can't thank Bomber enough for his infinite patience and guidance. I am SO SO SO excited to get back to ACC north (track im most familiar with) and see how far I've come since my first track day last year.

    Thanks STT!

Bomber was the coach for a group I was in during a track day at Putnam last year. Yes, he is extremely knowledgeable and can explain things very well.
