And we did it the 2 day's before with zero incidents there... Miguel's deal was bad.. His bike lifted the air fence then he hit the tires/wall...

I am just happy I got to run Road Atlanta the way it was for many years...:thumb:

my vote is for no chicane. eventually we will have to run the new without an option but I like the old version. earlier in the post derrick and others we refering to wera gnf there. I ran the gnf there in 94 and 95 and kurt hall and steve patterson.... man hadnt heard them names in a while where are they now. bet we all raced together back in the day.lol btw a few weeks ago someone left a mess at barber picture to follow in next post anyone know who left this mess??

anyone know ho left this pile by matt deans trailer? extensive forensic testing has been done and there seems to be some DNA evidence linking these remains to a yellow and white R6....anyone got an idea?:bump::crutch:

I was just at RA this past weekend, and I looked at the chicane a number of times as I passed T3. While it looks pretty fun and would be cool to try it, I really prefer the sweeping left....great place to pass. I never liked it in AMA as it pretty much removes all opportunities to pass between T1 and between 5-6.
Again, would be fun to try, but I think the "no chicane" is a better choice. I ride in I group and I could see this causing a traffic jam at the top of the hill. Just my $0.02.

I say run the AMA setup. There is a reason it got changed. T12 that wall comes pretty damn quick. Dropping into new T12 is def a hard braking area. But way safer with lots of extra run off. Hell of a rush topping the hill under the bridge and flying right back down the hill. Same in the Chicane. Makes the track a lot safer. And more fun. Adds a few extra twist to the Esses. Plus helps us racers out ;-)

Yes, but thought I'd throw it out there..
    LoL
Meet in the middle kinda thing, and with already changing to New T12 and to the hottest pits in the world, I thought a compromise on the chicane might be nice...

Doesn't bother me. I always feel weird on the outside anyway. I was just wondering.
