Just looked at the 2011 schedule, and I have noticed that there are far fewer Road Atlanta dates this coming season. In addition, Atlanta Motorsports Park has been added with several dates. Can anyone shed any light onto this?
And only one (potential) Tally date....quite a few changes it appears! Wowowowow this new Atlanta facilty looks like is trying to outdo Barber! Man are we gonna have some FUN in '11!!
IIRC there were five Road Atlanta dates last year and four days this year. One was Labor Day Monday which was not open this year. I think Richard and the crew did a fantastic job, wouldn't you agree?
I think that y'all always do a fantastic job. My first year riding with you, I joined and brought two friends with me. Last year, I joined and brought four friends. As of now, it looks like this year will involve me and maybe up to seven friends joining. haha. I didn't think AMP was going to be open in time tho... can't wait.
ya i hate the RA dates always being on holidays... memorial day, labor day, and july 4th are boating weekends!!! as far as AMP...i didnt think it was even close to being finished...i hope they didnt jump the gun on the schedule like BMP and then the dates start getting cancelled left and right Has nothing to do with STT, but still disappointing
They have December of 2010 photos with no blacktop. Did nobody get a clue after Bluegrass  That means they have to get the blacktop done before March during the winter. BRB I need to load the shotgun for when that pig flies by.
Hey guys when i saw the schedule for 2011; I was like Atlanta Motor Park. So i'm assuming this may be a great track. I saw the track lay out seems nice.
Can we get knobby tires in a 180/17? I hope it does clear the legal and construction hurdles and open on time. I would love to have another track only a short drive from home.
What happened to all the little tally dates? I thought everyone loved that track? And for the price u can't beet it.
This is going to be a great Year for sure... There has been alot of progress at AMP and hopefully we will have the privledge of riding on that track sometime in 2011. Bring on the Pavement Crews!!!
Is Atlanta MSPark going to be another Bluegrass? I think my brother in Atlanta is going to head up on 1/8 for their open-house. "January 2011 * A tour of the construction of AMP on Jan 8th at 9:30 am sharp, first 25 RSVP's to membership@atlantamotorsportspark.net, weather permitting." Is it fair to assume if we purchase the event and the facilities are not ready, credits will be issued? Any word, rumor or innuendo about Bluegrass opening in 2011 or at all?
Bluegrass is now involved in a lawsuit with the bank who refused to fund the loan they commited to.. all we can do is wait. I would address comments about AMP (or anything else STT related) to Richard Harris as he has taken a very keen interest in AMP and I have stepped back.
