Oh I'll be there! I'll bring some wings unless y'all need something else. Anyone have a Saturday pass they can't use? Or maybe I should just go for the advanced and get completly schooled.
Leaving Friday at 12pm from Tysons Corner, Virginia. Anyone got a B spot for sale 11/21/2009? carnage@carnag3.com
Hi all ... New here. Glad to have joined. I will be at the CMP event on sunday along with two of my other friends (I will be on a triumph 675 and will be accompanied by two friends... yamaha guys -- R6 and R1). I've done track days in my past, but a pretty horrific wreck (on the street) took me out of the scene for a bit. So, I decided to cut my teeth in the novice group. The others in my group are also gonna be in novice (one is a first timer, and the other has only done one track event). All in all, I am more than excited. We will be driving in on sunday morning, so hope to meet many of you and get some good suggestions out there. (we should be using a YAMAHA "Team Velocity Racing" trailor... look for us).
My wife isnt going to be able to come with me so I am going to try to sell my 22nd B spot. PM if you're interested.
Coming up from the beach on Fri. eve. Signed up for the novice bunch, be there Sat & Sun. Bringing an SV650, first time on track with this bike. Frying a turkey? Yall are a class act! Do ya think the weather might be a little moist? Can't predict this far out but the weather folks are quackin' about something happening in our neck of the woods, Charleston.
Saturday looks decent with no rain, just cloudy. Sunday could be a little wet they are calling for 40% right now so we will take it as it comes. Just remember we ride rain or shine Better then last year when it was 18 degree's friday night
Granted, this is pretty far out at this point... but weather.com is claiming a 20% chance of rain on saturday withe a high of 73, and a 40% chance of rain on sunday with a high of 60. Hoping it might all blow over... call me a wuss, but I wont spend much time on the track if it rains (atleast not my first time back).
Riding in the rain makes you a better smoother rider. But with a name like Skin Graft I will leave that decision up to you. I hope you have a good time
