Sunday is looking bad... 70% chance of rain at 53 deg and windy. Apparently there is a nor'easter setting up... so if anyone has a Saturday novice or intermediate they can't use... I'm your guy! Jamie.seidl@gmail.com @ Marc... is this you from 7:50 to 8:40? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wasj_aOIfBw
You Punks quit worrying about the rain!! The funnest TD I ever did was during Huricane Rita at Jennings.. 50+ mph Winds and puddles and rivers all over... Ran DOT's and learned more than you could ever imagine..and had a blast.. Now get your Heads out of the Doppler and stuff that Hefty bag in your Gear Bag... Also Rain X is your friend.. BUT...THERE IS NOW A 60% CHANCE ITS NOT GONNA r%$N And yes Conrad that was me floating around Road Atlanta... Must have been coaching Intermediate or changing tires... Great fun.. You need to come do a TD there... 20 Minutes from my house too.. Man that drive is tough...
Was at CMP last month with USDesmo and forecast was about the same. It looked like rain, but we kept riding through lunch. It then rained a little and by the time we'd finished eating, all was dry. We didn't miss a minute.
Get the rain tires out...up to 60% on Sunday!!! And for those without rain tires, I will have my tire groover. I won't charge anything, but I am absolutely sure that after watching me you will be more than willing to offer a donation to the beer fund! Tdub
I agree... and I have ridden in the rain on the track before. I guess being that I haven't been on a track since before my wreck in '06 (hence the name). So, I guess I'll just have to feel it all out. All in all, I am very excited about getting back out there. Looking forward to seeing all of you out there.
Amen to that!! Hey is Jake gonna be there with you guys this weekend? We were pitted across from you guys I think at Tally... We had the fire pit...
I was just messing with you bro. I won't be there instructing this weekend. But all the guys there have a lot of experience and are the best at what they do. Take advantage of that in the rain or shine. They are there to help you at any time. Have fun
Awesome.... Cant wait to get back out there with him again... Has he been to CMP on that 600 yet? Not that it matters...
I hear ya. And don't worry... I didn't take it the wrong way. I really want to take advantage of the entire day -- rain or shine. It might take a little convincing, but I am sure I will end up out there. Now I just have to decide what to do about tires. I have a set of the BT003R's on the bike now. Don't think those are very rain friendly.
Is Jake and his Dad from Princeton? I talked to a guy and (i guess) his son that was from Princeton while we were at Tally a couple weeks ago. The reason it stuck in my head was because they were from west Ky. too. They were pitted next to a couple I've gotten to know from east Tn.
