You crack me up. Actually, they're not horribly expensive: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=3064 t
Man I can buy a new front tire for the price! Too bad they wouldn't last 10 years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep - Milbar's are what I have also. You scoff at the price until you have a pair and then you're like, "why didn't I get these before?"
Once again, you do not need a jig, drill press, or safety wire pliers. just a electric drill or dremel and about 6 or the 3/32" drill bits. and some safety wire. You can twist the wire by hand and you can drill EVERY BOLT ON THE BIKE with out taking anything off or using a drill press.
the HF pliers are $10 or so. Well worth it compared to twisting by hand. You can debate if you need expensive tools for that but if you do it frequently a well working tool is priceless. That goes for any job not just safety wire ring!
I couldn't agree more. Buy some cheap pliers, only a fool would save $10-15 and twist the wire by hand.
Agreed. You'd spend that much money in band-aids from plucking your fingers and gushing blood everywhere.
