I love BHF.. Fun track! I doubt STT will go there though so you may have to look at other options. <---- This is me @ BHF
don't doubt too hard.. i've heard rumors of a possible return.. stay tuned for the new schedule very confusing, political like reasons.. STT was there as late as 9/11/11.. was an extremely fun weekend
MotoVid and BHF are no longer "related", so I wouldnt be surprised if STT started going there again. :thumb:
and i dont want to go do track day with another group, that would be like cheating on the mistress,, lol,..
just wait till the schedule comes out, Nick, Trevor & Richard will get to work on that soon enough (and they already have been)
I heard rumblings but wasn't sure. Then again I heard that before. Lol Awesome if the do! Motovid runs a good day there too. One fun track for sure, it can be intimidating at first if you've never been but it is a great layout. I wish we had more tracks out here that had more "left hand" turns...
Especially when you crash the first session out. I started to figure it out by the end of the weekend, though. I meant to go back, but did ACC with STT instead. Maybe next year with STT.
BHF is a fun track... as long as you don't look at the potential safety issues. STT and BHF have history, and personally I hope to go there again with STT as the track is so much fun! -Tom
Blackhawk was my "home track". I sort of miss it and would love to make a trip back there.... *hint**hint**cough**cough** Nick :ear:
I have ridden around that track facing backwards in an SCCA Safety Truck more times than I can count. The track is definitely no where near FIA level of safety and I'd definitely have concerns about certain areas of the track - especially places where the armco is close to the surface on the outside of turns. However, can't be too far off of many of the other smaller, regional tracks we run. Does BHF have a reputation as either a safe or unsafe track in the bike world?
