i was at BHF to spectate SCCA. i've always wanted to do a trackday up there. being familiar with STT and only wanting to ride in this group, there was never a chance. really hoping they can add another midwest track. for those that don't travel far for trackdays, ACC has been all i know and limiting.

I watched Federson "almost" do that a couple years back.....scary!!!

Watching it unfold I was standing there and in my head.... no.....no.....no...no...no,no,no.......whoa! That was close!

I was there this year and it is a fun track. About an inch and a half of elevation change, but the track layout is pretty good. There are a couple safety concerns but I would ride there again. (Hopefully not crash next time)

Yup - I had it happen to me on turn 6 at Blackhawk Farms few years back riding in a Limited Endurance event.
Two of us went down at the same time after someone blew an engine.

I spent nine days at Rockford Memorial Hospital.......I believe the other rider who fell had a mini-vacation at a Beloit hospital.

.......but if STT goes back to Blackhawk Farms in 2014, I will be there !

Can confirm, almost did this last season. Freaked and locked the rear brakes, so instead of t-boning someone, I high-sided and rolled across the carousel. The guy riding behind me was nice enough to both get video, and not run me over.

Did he upload the video on YouTube? When I ran off on turn 2, I probably would have done that had I not gone down by the corner worker while frantically trying to stop in the grass.
