yea not interested in McDonalds I can make my own breakfast as well, but generally if the vendor is good ( Barbers and Tally are both excellent breakfast vendors) I will buy breakfast.
I think the food truck at NCM is only open for lunch. it's really good: rice bowls w/veggies, shrimp, other meats. good lemonaid.
I posted this by mistake, in the Barber thread. the latest google earth view looks about a year old. any detail layout of NCM? RV spots, garage entrances, camping spaces, etc. If anyone took pictures or maybe a drone video of the paddock and accompanying area, I would really appreciate the layout or video. thanks
Here's a paddock map sent to me by the staff. I reserved a RV spot. There are 10. I believe I saw a drone video. I will see if I can find it.
Here is a drone video. I will keep looking for the more recent one I know I saw. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H1RMx-qX11I
thanks, assuming no RV sport reserved, in the picture above, is area 4 the place someone with a truck and trailer would park? Or is it area 7?
Area 7 is definitely NOT the place to try and park......it's the auto skid pad and the last time there, a couple of weeks ago, they had a go cart course set up there one day and cars set up on a course the next. The first event there in May, it was the East Tennessee Covette club doing a weekend at the track. We were pitted by a guy with one of the Corvettes and Peggy got to go with him for three runs through the course. Just watching it from the paddock area, it looks pretty easy, but she said that when you are in the car, they are flying and the cones aren't very far apart, so driving skill is paramount!
awesome thanks everyone. This will be my first NCM event and it will be nice to feel a little at home one more question I have a cheaper 7K generator. I like to be a good neighbor so I try to park away from others and have the exhaust pointed towards the wooded area. Does the area behind 4 have some "natural" setting to put my gen towards?
No. Your best bet to be polite will be to park to the Far Northeast corner of Area 4. Better have a pit bike as it's a long way back to registration or classrooms if you are going there. It will all make sense when you see it.
yea, I could not believe how it worked out this year. I am a NCAA volleyball official. And every STT NCM weekend I was working. Just a one year anomaly, I am sure next year my schedule will match up better.
one last question, is the front straight North to south, south to north, east to West or West to East, Just so I can get my bearings.
right now all I have is a bicycle Just out of curiosity how many RV sites are there? and is there a plan to create power in section 4?
