Ok, last answer: 1. There are only few powered sites by the entrance at this time; those normally go to the staff an organizers. 2. Yes, there is a plan to extend power, but at the moment NCM is building garages, control tower, etc. If you want a garage with power, it will soon be available to rent.
thanks for all your patience. and Yes I did first go to the NCM motorsports site. but I could not find any information in the places I looked. Might be there but I could not find it. So I did try to do all this information gathering on my own
Either way Keith...if I remember right they were all small Yamaha gens. See what they gots! Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
We are in RV site 1. If someone wants to pit with us and sponge some power, no problem. We are not running any tire warmers so we should have plenty of spare amps. We only have one bike we are tracking, so plenty of space to share.
Yeah, autocross is a lot like riding on the street on bikes vs the track. After a while autocross gets boring as hell and you realize there is no comparison to actually tracking your car. I did it for about a year and then after my first track day at Sebring, never did another autocross, but did a lot of track days with different clubs. It is a good place to start, but once you've gone track, you'll never go back.
Chris, I have a generated rented that will run all three of our warmers and fans...I have it covered. Brett says he's not bringing any gennies, so I advise everyone to have one with them when they show up.... Read your .org PM's....
Just wondering, does STT put up air fence at this track when you host there? I figured I'd ask here since a lot of staff members posted up...Thanks!
Argh, well thanks for letting me know, Vern! Anyone know if there are plans for them to make air fence available for bike events?
We are working on it!!! The track is working very diligently to have airfence on site for all bike events. t
I am a novice rider, so my pace is much slower, and it may make a bigger difference for I and A riders. 15, 16 & 17 seem to me would benefit the most from air fence. of course air fence is great everywhere, but for 15 - 17 there is limited run off and in that area, even at fast novice pace you can hit the wall. Otherwise as a novice rider I felt pretty comfortable. There was one other area that kept catching my attention for the first two sessions. Then I got comfortable and now I cannot even remember what section it was. I might have been 7-8 but I cannot remember for sure. Anyway by afternoon I was comfortable and forgot about it. 15-17 always stuck in my mind as the place I did not want to make a big error on. just my 0.02
