That's what I mean...if I come up for AMA I have no idea what I would do with my bike (in an open trailer) for Saturday and Sunday. Maybe just trust camping near it for the weekend?
Yes it would be safe.....We would have a spot for your bike and trailer where we are camping... There are thousands of bikes everywhere in that place that weekend......:thumb:
Just want to say, the only thing I see the 600 guys giving up there is some top-end straightaway speed... and that's not a big deal to me! The scenery is gorgeous.
Wow, now I'm really looking forward to RA. Should be a really fun weekend. I can't take em both because my buddy is coming and my oversized van will only hold two bikes. You got me thinking though....I might have to bring that 750 after all, once I get my frame/axle sliders put on. A ship is safe at harbor, but that's not what ships were built for! Beer sounds good to me....
You are correct but that top end difference equals about 5 or 6 seconds a lap with an equal or the same rider
Yessir. They are long straightaways. :wheel: My fun isn't all about lap times, so that doesn't diminish the good times for me.
Shoot I thought it was more like 10 seconds difference. The extra 50-70hp a litre bike has over a good 600 is huge at this place. Fun track and great paddock. Looking forward to summer!!!
I camped it and it worked out perfect. don't forget to bring bug spray! you guys on 600's, are you changing gearing? or keeping it close to stock.
I would imagine youll need all you got...and that will depend on your build. Stock 600's are HP limited and cant reach redline in 6th gear with stock gearing. So you can usually change gearing a lil and not lose top end, because the top speed was theoretical anyway.
Unreal...what a difference between pro rider/pro bikes..my best on a 1000 there is 2:23.7...slow in comparison...can't even get my head around a 2:13 even on the couch doing laps in my head...lol
I haven't been to road a in almost 4 years. Last event was nesba Memorial Day. Maybe I'll make this one and the ccs as well. 4 days in a row on track.
Wow its been that long ago? The last time we were there, we were in intermediate group and i was on my slow ass 02' 750. I bet the Beemer would stretch its legs well there.
