you're not the only one, the facilities are top notch though. If they removed just one straight it would be a lot more fun
oh you still get a workout, its just different than most tracks, the hard braking three times in a lap really does a number on your forearms etc..
Picking up 50 gallons of U4.4 on my way up.....:smoking: My RSV4 eats gas anyway so I'm getting used to it.
So if I want to hit the AMA race Sunday, then hit the Speed Academy School Monday.. What do you geniuses recommend I do with the parking situation w/ bike/ trailer Sunday. Or is it a non-issue. I'm sure someone's done this before. thx in advance. Also, where is a good place to stay? I'm sick of the Oshtoff. Too many families and old people. Hmmm.. Maybe I'll just camp, --Also, gearing for 1000. I've been hearing just go back to stock.. 44/17 ?
Camp.... Its a No Brainer!!!!! Hotels are too boring...Non issue... Just find a spot to park and watch on Sun... Then after 530 you can move into the Pits... You will need to go back down to the credential building and get a arm band for STT MON AND TUES THOUGH... Not a big deal...
Im about to sign up for June 2 & 3 and whooo That's expensive.... I guess because it's the days after AMA Maybe I can work a deal by updating the PDF track maps for STT
so havent been here for a couple years but got a couple more questions. i plan on coming for july and ccs weekend. whats the paddock power situation? available only in garages and need a generator outside? do they allow thursday move in and camping for friday practice?
Power is available but is no longer free. I had to pay $20 last Oct. for using their electricity! Can't answer about moving in on Thursday. :noidea:
Monday & Tuesday were a F-ing Blast!! :wheel: Had a little rain mid- morning on Monday and that soon dried up over lunch and the rest of the time was awesome weather!! Got to meet a bunch of people and even some of the crazy Canadians that drove down. :thumb: Bikes, Beer and Brauts what better way to spend an extended weekend. P.S. I had a great time at Road America on Monday and Tuesday. I want to thank our session coach Owen. He provided great information and feed back that helped me greatly. In addition, he was a blast to talk with and listen to his stories. It helped make the event for me.
