Trevor has a valid point and that sounds like a good plan.

With that being said, you will want to ride both days. If you only sign up for 1 day, when that day is over you will be kicking yourself in the ass because you want another day.

Been there, done that. My first time i signed up for 1 day thinking i wasnt sure how tired i would be, or if i would truly like it, etc. When the day was over, i was so excited...then so bummed because i missed out on a day of riding.

Good advice and exactly what I was thinking. :thumb:

Now, should I pre-register or just show up? My concerns are the weather on one side, and having the event sell-out on the other. Does novice class typically sell-out?

    If possible, always pre-register...always.

There is absolutely NOTHING worse than getting all pumped up for the track, spending 2-3 days packing everything, prepping the bike, being all excited and then getting there and not being able to ride.

Lol. I can't afford that this year. I am looking at doing him or Bargy sometime next year though. Hopefully I can find a cheap track bike this winter.

RA is a HUGE and fast track. Remember - ASK FREAKIN QUESTIONS! If I had any regrets about my first track day it was that I sat there and didn't ask for help when I know I could have benefited from it.

You're in Jersey? I'm in Loganville (the Jersey-Youth-Monroe-Social Circle loop is one of my favorite cruising areas for slow motorcyclin).

It is a good ride, but I've seen lots of radar along that loop. Got pulled at 100+ on Jersey-Social Circle and talked my way out of it. 278 to 441 is also a good ride.

Speaking of questions, I will have plenty. Right now I'm wondering about a schedule...where should I be and when should I be there?

Oh, I don't haul ass through there. That is my laid back riding area. Just barely over the speed limit, enjoy the scenery, kind of ride.

Hey Psycohololic - A bunch from FZ1OA are thinking of a ride up around Suches, Hwy 60, etc on Sunday. Interested?

I'm jealous! Wish I could come! Road Atlanta is an incredible track.... I think it tops my all time fav, Barber, even, and I never thought I'd say that! But this weekend is MotoGP!!
