I'll be there. Looking forward to it! Trev what time do the gates close Friday night? Trying to see if I need to leave work early.
I am not sure if it differs by event, but i believe the gate is open 24/7 at Road Atlanta. There is always somebody working that booth and you can sign/pay right there. It isnt like Barber where the gate is open 24/7, but you have to buy a wristband at that other building and it closes at 10. At Road Atlanta, you buy your wristband from the dude at the gate, and somebody is always there. But like i said, it might differ from event to event (it has been a while since i have done a track day at Road Atlanta, i am speaking from my experiences during race weekends). Probably the best bet would be to call the track and confirm it.
Brett...a man of your age should be able to take a piss from your backyard and it would land on R.A. property! Sheeesh! :lmao:
How come everyone just jumped to the RA date without the Little Tally track time? Second question...Does anyone on the forum ever wish they had a "shifter cart" "super cart" to ride RA and Tally with?
The only thing that sucks about Tally is that it's 4+ hour drive to it from my house instead of about 10 minutes.
Long drive? pfft! Otherwise, I've not been to RA. I'll assume there is camping and showers? Might there be a track map indicating where the trackday junkies can camp?
I'll take a 4 hour drive any day! :lmao: I keep hoping something will get built closer to home (and I don't mean started, we know how that goes, I mean built, open, operational and available!)
Showers (mostly cold except the ones over by the tower) and plenty of camping sites available there. Electricity is available in the lower paddock area but it's a bit tricky to hook up to, pet friendly track, no shade anywhere so bring a canopy and plenty of water/ice. BTW - I'm in for both days. Just did my first two days with STT up at Putnam and had a blast. And Little Tally is a great track for close riding and even closer passing.....:fencing: HJ
