I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to spend tomorrow morning in style with my friends at Cook County Traffic Court :). We are going to talk about a summer night from August 2012.

Soon I need to start taking apart my bike, clean, lube, refresh etc

The big question is what tires should I get this season, since it looks that my 2013 track budget isn't as perky as 2012 so that means more street then I would like. Powers 3s... Supersport ... lots of new options out there

Yea I've been slacking big time. I have a xt gpx to wire up, a full exhaust to do, water to drain and a radiator to clean. Waiting on a new lower from armor bodies since the one in the kit I got didn't fit very well at all. Gotta pull my suspension and get it over to Ken for a fork swap with my ohlins and a refresh on the rear. Jeez I'm slacking.

These look good for street and track duty, and you can get them at the track from Sportbike Tire Service:thumb:

Well I just picked up a lightly used demo/floor model off Ebay for $395.00 :bounce: Once I have time to play around with it and take it on a few track days I'll give my full opinion.

Moto-D Warmers next (Team Fiscal Cliff Ducati in full effect LOL)

What is the benefit to dual temps? I dont know much about the chickenhawks other then people like them. PM me a picture or two and how old they are.

2 temp settings vs one. Honestly it's not very useful. I have digital tire warmers and leave them at the same temp all day and unplug them over lunch. The only benefit to mine really is they get hotter than the single and dual temps.

Mattie, I am still trying to make sense of your bizzare obsession with commas. LOL

I bought a dirt bike last month, hopefully I'll get a fair amount of seat time during the "off season" between it and my street bike with heated gear.

Speaking of the street bike, I plan to either take it to Kenny or take the forks off and send them to him for Race Tech Gold Valves and springs.

So far New lid, bell star carbon, new gloves knox handroids, knox back protector. My astars boots are over due for a rebuild, planning on sending them in next week. Just finished an engine tuneup on the Speed triple, valve adjustment, new plugs samco hose kit and a few other detials. The suspension is way over due for a service so that and a brake MC are next...

Injured my knee in a half marathon in oct, so ive been slacking fitness wise...

Did you buy those Optimal Racing Fairings yet? I have read some good reviews and you can't beat that price. Haven't pulled the trigger on them myself yet because it's too cold to paint right now.

Not yet. I'll be snagging them here in a few weeks. Probably around income tax time.

I do know that a riding buddy has a Optimal Tail for his bike, and the thing survived a high-side with barely any damage.
The quality seems good on it. Its thick stuff, well, compared to Hotbodies he has on the rest of the bike. I was impressed, although the body lines aren't SUPER sharp like factory.

And yea, for the price i'm excited.
I'll be posting a whole build thread when i get them
Mostly because i'm a post whore. :hat:

The mounting points mostly failed, but that's why man invented zip ties. The tail itself has successfully survived a nasty highside (as though there's another kind of highside) and a relatively painless lowside.
