Hi guys, figured I'd chime in to. This winter I've been working on a self made data logging system/gps lap timer. Ripped out the stock dash unit, and replaced it with my own lcd display. I was able to strip down a wiring harness and tap into some ECU signals. Its been slowly getting there, hopefully I can get it completely robust before March.. :fear:
I don't know about the "Baller" stuff (I'd pay more per month in hotel fees compared to what I'm gonna pay) but he's correct I did pick up a toy hauler.
It's what we were after. Def not a full luxury version but not basic. Enough room for the boy to enjoy himself if it's too hot out. Split garage was the biggest selling point.
I looked at that identical model, I decided on the one I got off of the deal I got. The floor plans are near identical. Congrats on your purchase. Lol they aren't no $50k trailers but they are cheaper than the hotels twice a month.
We were at the boat and RV show and I check out a few toy haulers. I was told I have to get one now. Nice rigs guys.
Bought a cycle trainer yesterday to get serious about quad conditioning - which was never an issue on the track, but the 3-4 days after were tough. I am also down 15 lbs of my 40 lbs goal for the off season.
Hit me up when you start having issues with the FunFinder and trust me you will. Not that they are worse than other brands (about the same really). I have the XT726 and it was bought new 12-2011, its a 2012 model and its had all sorts of aggravating issues most all of which stem from shoddy workmanship on assembly. We have used the hell out it though it has close to 17k miles on it to date. Since its cold out right now I will give you the first tip, its a fair weather hauler and absolutely NO freeze protection on the plumbing system. Look under it unless they changed their design (which I doubt) the water lines are exposed no insulation. It will freeze with water in them even if the outside temp is above freezing. It happens from wind chill during transport. I just spent last night wrapping all my water lines with foam wrap to prevent this. I'm heading to Nola this weekend to race with wera and its cold at my house on departure time. Won't be much warmer there. Pitbul restraints are the way to go in the back. I have two mounted and a pair of pingel chocks to haul scooters, dirtbikes and non Pitbull use bikes. I've dragged the FunFinder all over the US from NC to UT. Aside from the crappy build quality its a wonderful floor plan on a toy hauler. I hope you went for an extended warranty, it will be used.
you're gonna need a new car then too :thumb: i'm ordering the Dish tailgater too, that way we won't miss the GP races
Im going to get the rear shock refreshed by Joe Kraft. I will do the forks myself, tune up on the engine (valve clearance, timing chain, plugs...), and a good general cleaning. Also working on some weight loss and general fitness improvement (Im lifting the baby a LOT ). Gear is alright, but I like to add a chest protector. Any suggestions? I also got a dirt bike for my birthday so I will do as much dirt biking as possible. Maybe that helps improving my track riding......
Upgrading the bike. Quick turn throttle, Quick shifter, Pair valve removal, Rebuilding the master cylinder, New/ used calipers from 2011, Going to give Vesrah pads a shot again SRJLXX, General cleaning, Oil change, New tires. Also working on overall fitness. Training for my first Marathon on 4-27.
