The STT Eastern Division Schedule will be released sometime in January. We are still working to put the finishing touches and finalize everything and don't want to release anything prematurely.
    Thank you for your patience.

    Where's da Monti

I hear ya Bill........I can fill in the ******* lol. Well if there is no Monti (my favorite track), we can look forward to 2012 and the opening of Liberty Bell in PA. All the other Orgs have their 2011 schedule out already. I hope STT has saved the best for last!!! That would be ******* awesome!!!!

knock on wood things are good. i stopped racing back in 06 since i had to save for a wedding and a house. got married in 08, had a little boy in 09, and just had twin boys in oct. total of 5 kids now. no time for any racing, but i did get back to the track this season by way of trackdays (which i find quite enjoyable even though its not racing). although between dirtbiking for 06/07 with my wife and two older kids, and then switching it up to quads for 08-current we have been keeping active off road. how about by you?

    Liberty Bell

It is supposed to be an hour north of Philly but south of the poconos. I heard it was supposed to be open sometime in 2012, but lately I hear the project has been stalled. It makes one wonder how the hell did NJMP ever get done? Was it in the works for 10 years? I don't understand why they won't repave pocono? Repave it and the BIKES will come.....

WE need more than just NJMP in the tri-state area. No one wants to go back to doing illegal speeds on the streets and running from the law and dodging soccer moms in their minivans/SUVs on the cell phones!!!! Or worse, no riding at all and just mowing the lawn on the weekends.

NJMP was done with the cooperation of the community on land that was close to/ right on the airport. There was a implied promise of revenue to the community, as well.

Liberty Bell has faced local opposition from the get go and has been in development for about 4-5 years, to my knowledge. At one point, the owner, trash magnate JP Mascaro threatened to build a hog confinement facility on the site if he couldn't build a racetrack. people living nearby simply don't want the track and aren't impressed by what revenue it might bring.

They've won a series of lawsuits intended to halt the construction sometime in the past 6 months, IIRC. however I've no knowledge of what's going on there right now.

As we've seen with Bluegrass, Lime Rock, the proposed track in tennessee, and many more across the country- it's great to make wishes that they get built, but don't expect a thing until the pavement is completed and the gates are open.

Good info here, thanks. I wonder if this video fuels the opposition to Liberty Bell

i worked at a $300M/yr automotive die casting company that was shut down mainly due to noise issues.

most of the noise ordinances are unrealistically quiet....and even if you meet the ordinances....it's tough to argue with some little old lady that complains that it's just too damn loud regardless of the ordinance.

What does it cost to drive the NJTPK from NYC to NJMP?

Sorry NJ no one wants to visit NJ unless its for gambling or motorsports. I think the people who matter get this. I watch Boardwalk Empire and I think Nucky would like this place. Isn't that one of Thompsons men starring at us at pit out?

Not sure what exit you get on, but round trip, exit 11 to 3 is $19 (until the fees go up again).

I'm still waiting for a second track to open in NH (tamworth) that's probably the better part of a decade in the works.
