To put all the monti talk to rest....I bought the track and I plan on not allowing anything larger than a RC car on the track, well except for me and maybe a couple close friends....but definitely not that renard guy, he's a douche. Or lance....he's just too damn tall....it creeps me out. That is all.
It is what it is. A few years back I'd signed up and paid with another organization to ride Roush creek. Used the credit i got for that date elsewhere so not a biggie. ...don't Know if the organization had to put down a deposit to reserve the track for that day, and if so , if they got their money back. If Monticello now has enough members to pay the freight, good for them. I got to ride there for a couple years more than i would have had the economy not taken a sh!t .
FWIW dudes, all last year I heard that Monticello would not be open to any outside clubs for the 2011 season. I drive my car there with many clubs, and know lots of people personally who were trying to get events scheduled there for this season, and they just weren't having it. Not sure where the rumor ever came from that they were going to allow motorcycle clubs but not car clubs. Anyway, don't get your hopes up, is all I'm trying to say.

I dont get it. Either they can tell us, yes there will be track days at NJMP and Monticello and other eastern tracks.......or there will not. Dont keep jerking people around. If you are going to have dates, At least say yes there will be dates at NJMP and Monticello and just leave it at "dates to be annouced"......if not, just say so.
Relax guys. nobody is jerking you around- our dates haven't been announced because they have not yet been finalized. In effect, we don't know either. :roll: When it's known 100% for sure, I will shout it from the mountain top. Until then, I'm waiting on pins and needles just like everyone else.
I just dont get how every other track day org has their dates posted for eastern / north eastern tracks for over a month now and you guys have no finalized contracts. I just dont get it. I had a great time with STT last year and really planned on riding a few times with you folks this year.....
Can't give you won't they don't have. Stop taking it so personally. Regardless of what or where the dates are this season, you're about 2 months or more from being on the track anyway. I know everyone's itching to know, trust me you aren't alone. Staff doesn't know either. I take it as a good sign. To me it comes across as negotiations are still in the works. No one has come out and said definitively "no mmc" so I can only assume the wait goes hand in hand possibility. Simmer down now
Well even though Im public enemy #1 on this thread here is my 2 cents...time is flying these days and I am gonna have to make some plans for scheduling jobs while Im riding. Others need to put in for days off. With the possibility of no Monti, NJMP will be packed so I want to get a dozen or so days paid for right away before they sell out. We dont want to jump the gun until STT post the schedule. Weather permiting, we will be back on track by mid to late March. If the top dogs at STT are reading this then maybe we can at least get the NJMP schedule by mid to late Feb?
whining and complaining? I was making a post without disrespecting anyone. There are a bunch of posts before mine and there you go getting on me. Was my post out of line or are you just a tool? Please clarify what in my post would be whining or complaining?
